At the 'Korea-UAE Business Forum' held during the state visit in January last year, a consortium of domestic smart agriculture companies (Formit, Nongshim, MS, Agro Solution Korea) and a local company, Al Marina Holdings (hotel, distribution, restaurant), signed a contract for the next five years. I agreed to set up and operate my own strawberry vertical farm. The plan is to install six vertical strawberry farms locally at a cost of approximately $16 million.
