ASK remains engaged in various consulting and direct implementation activities. We continue to contribute to the detailed planning, feasibility analysis, strategy development, and master planning of smart agriculture projects promoted by the Korean government in developing countries through ODA projects.

Vertical farm demonstration
ASK conducts research and development on indoor vertical farming (plant factory) systems and cultivation technologies, as well as the construction, management, and consulting of vertical farming technologies and facilities in Korea as a technological demonstration to encourage foreign export.

Overseas investment
ASK has directly signed export contracts with Sri Lanka, Rwanda, and the Philippines for building greenhouses and systems, providing cultivation consultancy, and Korean seedlings.

External information A Study on the Operation Model of Optimal Environment Control in Indoor Vertical Farms Using Public Data This study presents a new approach to confront these challenges through the use of public data. Public data includes climate, soil conditions, and crop growth information, which can make an important contribution to key decision-making in smart agriculture. The purpose of this study is to propose an operating model for customized environmental control of indoor vertical farms in a smart farm environment using these public data. Through this, we aim to improve agricultural efficiency and productivity and achieve sustainable development in agriculture. The research begins with analyzing the various types and characteristics of public data. This data lays the foundation for effective use in a smart farm environment. Next, we develop data analysis and prediction models to derive insights necessary for customized environmental control in a smart farm environment.
